Written By A Pickup Artist For The Average Guy
The first thing that came to mind and sort of turned me off from this book, was the fact that it was written by someone claiming to be a “PUA or pick-up artist”. Whenever I hear that term, I feel as if it brings a kind of sleazy connotation to the table, some sort of way to manipulate women into bed.
However, to give it its day in court I decided to give Savoy’s Magic Bullets a read.
From my opinion, the book is obviously written by a PUA and scripted in a way for a regular guy to understand it. Although they use pick up artist lingo (which I also am not a big fan of) they at least explain the why’s and how’s of their techniques. This is important for guys who are in the beginning stages of understanding ‘the game’.

Another important thing to note is that they do not use the bad boy image or jerk technique but rather emphasize on conversation and presence power. To elaborate on this, they provide the idea of ‘storytelling’ and giving advice on how to captivate a woman or group the correct way.
Although I say I am not a big fan of pick-up artist material, which is what Savoy’s Magic Bullets is categorized as, I must say I was impressed on the chapter (Chapter 9) that covers girls in groups. It is important to talk to be able to talk to girls in a group because when girls go out they are usually with a group of their friends the whole time.
I really felt that this was a great chapter on social skills and in being comfortable talking with a group of people.
For better or for worse the book is written by a pickup artist, however, I must give credit where credit is due.
Overall: This book is very handy for beginners’ even regular guys who don’t necessarily WANT to become a PUA but rather just grab an edge over other guys. That is something I could agree with and recommend this book IF you are willing to put the work in. This book won’t help unless you put it to work.
If you are ready to put the work in, I think you’ll be satisfied with the material covered in Savoy’s Magic Bullets and most importantly gain more success with women.

On the topic of attire I can only give broad tips because people’s styles are different and women look for different types of styles as well. However one thing I noticed that works well when a man wants to know how to attract girls is to dress to stand out. When I say stand out, I don’t mean wear a bright pink shirt for all to detect. I mean it more in a way to dress with a purpose.
If you are going to a place where everyone is going to be dressed up, take the approach of the guy who dresses not to impress and doesn’t care. Dress a bit down than most people at the event and be seen as the guy who is different than most. Of course, don’t be a bum, rather instead of slacks wear dark jeans and a button down. This gives the look of you’re dressed on your own terms. Or if you are at a place where people are dressed down, then dress up. Be the classy guy of the party. Most important thing to remember when dressing and wanting to know how to attract girls is to dress to stand out from the pack.

David DeAngelo is a dating expert for which he is most known for his famous “cocky and funny” lesson. This is included in the book, but I personally don’t even believe that it is the best part of the book. I can tell that David D has done a lot of research and read a lot of books on the subject of women and how they think.
Reading his book, you may think to yourself on many occasions, “That’s so true, how did I not think about that!” and that’s what makes this book so great. He puts forth many simple concepts to wrap your mind around without any filling.
